You're much cheaper than the gaming bus!
We’re a charity venture! Cafe Unity is a community cafe project primarily staffed by volunteers, The Lobby is here to support Cafe Unity! We are a non profit venture and all proceeds will go towards a good cause! This is why we can keep the prices so low.

How long is the party for?
Each party held is 2.5 hours long. The party host will be able to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the party. You can run the party how you like - Most tend to have food 1 hour in so the kids can go back up to game afterwards.
-
What about food?
Were based above a coffee shop in Heald Green village - Our kitchen is tiny! This is why we don't cater food for the parties. We encourage our guests to bring their own food and drinks. The most popular option is Domino’s - You could also bring traditional party food such as sandwiches and snacks. Try not over think this part - The kids are always super excited to get back upstairs and we often see a lot get wasted!
-
Can i come and see the room before booking?
Of course! It is best if you could give us a call before hand so we can make sure everything is switched on. Just give us a call on (0161)437 6345 and ask for Sarah or Dean

I dont want my child to play GTA: 5
Of course! We totally understand. Your best way forward will be to contact the party host who can make the changes to the booking (each party is offered the option of different levels of age restrictions at booking) but if not just speak to our staff on the day and we will work with the host to figure it out.

What do you have that I can use on the day?
Bring the food and drinks - We’ve got the basics covered. You get the café downstairs privately for the party. This is where you can set up your food and drinks. We have plates and cutlery, jugs and bin bags you are welcome to use.
You can even buy drinks from us. We will be selling coffee and tea on the day, but you aren’t obliged to use us. -
Is 15 children the max?
Unfortunately yes, 15 children is the maximum we can allow upstairs. This is mostly due to insurance, as we are only allowed so many people upstairs at one time and we have to allow for the supervising adults. 15 children and 2 supervising adults (there must be 1 adult available to supervise per 10 children, or 2 for 15)
